Hi, my name is Lynda and I am a yoga teacher in Calgary, Alberta. I am super passionate about helping others find ways to their own inner calm, and making their body and mind wellness a top priority. As a mom to three I am especially focused on helping pregnant and new mamas navigate the path of motherhood and always remembering to put themselves on the list.
I am a certified yoga teacher with over 400 hours of training and more than six years of experience teaching. I have trained with Prana Yoga College in Vancouver, studied prenatal and postnatal yoga at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles and with Mamata Yoga in Edmonton. I am a trained kids yoga teacher, and am working towards certification as a Relax Kids Coach. I have also studied yoga for anxiety and depression under Judith Lasater.
I am a birth doula, and am trained in Calm Birth which incorporates meditation in childbirth. I am also working towards certification as a Hypnobabies Doula.
Beyond the yoga and birth world, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in psychology and religious studies, and a certificate in public relations.
